I Caught It (The Baseball Song)

I stand in the outfield with my head down.

I'm the worst ball player in this whole town.

I can't hit a pitch. I can't catch a ball,

'Cause what I do best is trip and fall.

I still in the outfield and what do I see?

A big pop fly head straight for me.

I stick out my glove and close my eyes.

Whoosh! What a great surprise!

I caught it! I caught it!

I'm not so bad after all.

I caught it! I caught it!

And I didn't even trip and fall.

I'm now in the infield playing first base.

A kid hits a line drive straight at my face.

I stick out my glove and close my eyes.

Whoosh! What a great surprise!

He's out! I shout:

"We won the game!"
